Once again, the climax of the NRL season will be reached tonight with rugby league enthusiasts world-wide to be treated to what promises to be a contest of epic proportions. Two of the competitions most consistant performers in the Melobourne Storm and Brisbane Broncos will do battle at Telstra Stadium for all the marbles, the coveted Premiership Trophy. With both teams fielding stars or up-and-coming stars from numbers 1 through to 13, this match is likely to come down to the wire. This one should be a low scoring affair with the number 1 and 2 defensive sides coming together on the same stage; look for a combined match total of 31-40 points- not that I endorse the punt! First tryscorers are likely to be the following: Shaun Berrigan, Justin Hodges, Brent Tate, from the Broncos and Greg Inglis, Matt Geyer, Steve Turner from the Storm. If you're looking for a winner you'd probably have a better chance of flipping a coin, heads- Broncos, tails- Storm! But in all seriousness, experience will prevail; look at the Broncos to win the match by a margin of 1-12 points, and at $4.50, you'd be stupid to pass up whacking some dosh on Darren Lockyer to win the Clive Churchill Medal.
