RECHARGING THE BATTERY…

Have you ever gotten to a point where you kind of feel like Bilbo in Lord of the Rings? You know where he says to Gandalf that he feels kind of stretched and spread out? At this present point in time that’s how I’m feeling not sure if I have a cold or flu or if it’s because age is creeping up on me. Regardless of what the cause is I intend to take a bit of break from the Lantern and literally recharge my batteries as well as the Lantern’s battery at the same time.
Initially I had intended to take a break at the end of this month but I think now it’s the time to have a break, my body is crying out for it and it would be best for me to heed that warning. I intend to take what remains of September and the whole of October off and just chill. All things being well I should be back onboard by the start of November and hopefully have plenty of things to discuss here on the site. And if you are an avid follower of Twitter of Facebook I probably still be posting the odd update on those two sites about what I’m up to and what may be coming up for future reviews.
Certainly there have been plenty of things to talk about that I have even scratched the surface of, for starters the Green Lantern movie, Thor, Bleach Movie 4: Jigoku-hen and loads of other stuff. Then there’s all the manga and comics that have been released such as Battle Vixens, Red Lantern and countless other titles which I might have to try and track down. And if that wasn’t enough I still have a few volumes of Saiyuki Reload lying around crying out for attention…
But when all’s said and done I need a break for now. I will catch up with you all later on in a month or so hopefully refreshed, energised and relishing things…
